Celebrating Women in Film

Saturday, October 21st, 11:30am-2:00pm
Sunset Center-Promenade & Main Theater, 9th Ave. & San Carlos St., Carmel-by-the-Sea

One of the festival’s most popular events and fundraisers. This event sells out every year.

With close to 4,000 film festivals held across the country every year, we truly believe that to be unique part of the mission of any film celebration should be a reflection of the community we call home. In our case, the “community” is diverse but there is no question that agriculture is a centerpiece. So, with our three-year commitment the Carmel International Film Festival is looking to celebrate those roots. This year that includes a Women in Film luncheon on stage at the Sunset Center with Tonya Antle as the keynote, followed by a screening of “The Evolution of Organic.” Programs for the next two years will be developed going forward as we look for films and panels to address the issues facing agriculture and by extension, our community.
